Treasure Park is a dynamic and seasoned trio based on the central coast of Oregon, bringing together a fusion of blues, jazz, rockabilly, and world rhythms. Founded by retired farmer Rudy Alaniz, lifelong musician and vocalist with roots in the California coast music scene, Treasure Park is a unique collaboration of diverse musical backgrounds.

Rudy Alaniz, with a voice honed under Juilliard-trained opera instructor Rosalie Cutler, has graced stages from the Shriners Theater in Los Angeles to the Larkspur Blues Festival in San Francisco. Now settled in Oregon, Rudy has been part of bands such as Endeavors and Blue Tide Blues, bringing soulful vocals and rhythm guitar to Treasure Park’s sound.

Joining him is Steve, a bassist and guitarist with decades of experience, who grew up in central Florida’s 60s garage band scene, eventually studying classical guitar and jazz at Florida State University. After a successful career, he retired to Coos Bay and reignited his passion for music, playing with various local bands. In 2024, Steve joined Rudy and Adam to complete the lineup for Treasure Park.

Adam Weiner rounds out the trio on drums and percussion. Born in the Bronx and trained at California Institute of the Arts, Adam’s background includes Latin percussion, Middle Eastern drumming, and funk. Since moving to Oregon in 2021, Adam has been reconnecting with his roots on the drum set, bringing rhythm and texture to Treasure Park.

With plans for new recordings, Treasure Park is a fresh yet deeply rooted project, blending each member’s vast experiences into a sound that’s both familiar and innovative.
